Caroline Nash
ACTor & Producer
I’m an emerging theatre producer based here in the Midlands, and at this stage in my life I’m focusing on developing the skills I need to support the brilliant local creatives around me. My path into producing hasn’t been a straight line — as an actor, I found myself naturally stepping into producing my own work and then organising, planning and helping others shape their ideas.
I’m now building my producing practice with intention. I’m strengthening my skills in areas like fundraising, budgeting and project planning so that I can offer artists the kind of steady, practical support that makes a real difference. I know how daunting it can feel to navigate the industry without guidance, and I want to be someone who helps make that journey clearer and more manageable.
What matters most to me is working with creatives in the Midlands - people who are passionate, resourceful and full of ideas, but who don’t always have access to the networks or support they need. My approach is simple: clear communication, kindness, and a genuine commitment to helping people move their work forward. I believe in creating a welcoming, open space where artists feel listened to and encouraged, no matter their background or experience.
Alongside my own development, I support the writing group Writing Doesn’t Have To Be Lonely, and I’m continuing to build connections with local artists and organisations. I’m excited to keep growing, keep learning, and keep contributing to a stronger creative community in the region.
If you’re a Midlands‑based artist looking for support, or someone who’d like to connect, I’d be very happy to hear from you.
